French Gilded Sofa with Matching Chairs

This stunning French gilded salon suite dates from the 19th century, the elegant lines are evident throughout from the serpentine fronts, curved arms and well shaped legs. The frames are sound and the sofa and chairs stand well.

We have had the seats professionally re-padded, this has been done from underneath .As can be seen in the photos, the original fabric is worn in places but is so beautiful we could not bring ourselves to remove it. As the frames are sound and the seats plump, new owners may wish to recover.
