19th Century Elm Chest

We are mad about the grain and colour of elm and this little blanket box/chest shows both to full advantage. Dating from the 19th Century, this charming chest has a plinth base, brass carrying handles and escutcheon plate. The condition is very good, the hinges are sound and the interior very clean, ideal for storing bedding etc. This very versatile chest would make a stylish coffee table, extra storage at the end of a bed or in a hall.
