19th Century French Empire Side Table
A well proportioned French Empire mahogany side table of circular form. This attractive 19th Century mahogany table has its original dark green marble top which looks very striking with the mahogany. The table is raised on elegant column legs with embossed brass decoration, it stands on a triform base which terminates in neatly turned feet. The marble top is in good order and the table is solid and stable. The general condition of this antique occasional table is good, there is a minor ripple in the veneer on the frieze, but this does not detract from the appearance of the piece, and this can be seen in the photographs. This is a very appealing French Empire table that would be a very decorative, versatile and useful addition to any room.
