19th Century French Gilt Dressing Mirror
A very elegant 19th Century carved giltwood dressing mirror. The beautifully decorated circular frame is supported on a short pedestal with superbly carved roses and foliage, terminating on a rectangular carved base. This delightful antique mirror has the original mercury glass plate, which is most attractively and naturally distressed adding to the decorative appeal and authenticity of this charming mirror. The pictures show unedited pictures of the mirror glass to convey the beauty of the original mercury mirror plate(the mirror on the console table has been edited to remove reflections) A perfect antique mirror to add style to any interior scheme.
