19th Century French Mirror
A very good quality 19th Century French mirror, the gilt frame is exquisitely decorated with an outer foliate border and topped with a very intricate and beautiful ribboned and floral pediment. The pediment on this mirror is so striking that we just had to have this gorgeous mirror to add to our collection! This antique French mirror has its original glass which is softly patinated and backboards. There are minor blemishes to the mirror frame, mainly to the base where it has possibly stood on top of a console or similar piece of furniture, these are compatible with age. Due to the size of the mirror these imperfections are not easy to see and do not detract from the beauty of this piece. This is a highly decorative antique mirror that would be a stunning addition to any interior to add glamour and style to any home.
