19th Century Painted Leather Screen

A 19th Century four fold leather screen, the panels painted with exotic birds and blossoms within embossed and studded borders. The background is a lovely mellow tone, a perfect foil for the vivid colours of the decoration. The condition of the screen is reasonably good as can be seen from the photographs. The backs of the panels are lined with paper and there is evidence of minor restoration, this is not detrimental to the appearance or use of this stunning antique screen. A beautiful 19th Century leather screen to add style and glamour to any interior.
