19th Century Teak Brass Cornered Trunk

A superb traditional teak trunk dating from the 19th Century with shaped brass corner plates, brass escutcheon and iron carrying handles. The original lock is intact, but without a key. The condition of this antique trunk is very good, the colour is deep and rich with a good patina. The interior, which bears the name of the original owner, is very clean and offers excellent storage facility. A very attractive and useful item to use as a coffee table, blanket box or to place in any room in the home as stylish additional storage.
