Early 20th Century Leather Armchair
An unusual and very decorative early 20th Century leather armchair with a beech frame. The front stretcher and legs are attractively carved in the 17th Century manner. The original leather is distressed and worn with some small holes on one arm and a minor tear to the front as shown in the photographs. These imperfections add to the character of this fabulous antique leather armchair, giving it a 'country house' feel. The leather has a beautiful warm colour and patination that is only acquired with use and age. The chair is very comfortable and the joints sturdy. The brown velvet feather filled cushion is new. This antique leather armchair would add style and individuality to any interior scheme.
