Early 20th Century Leather Armchair

A fabulous antique leather armchair with removable original velvet covered seat cushion. The leather on this stunning early 20th Century armchair has developed the wonderful patination and mellow warm brown tone that is only acquired with age. The decorative studding, which continues to the legs, is a typical feature on early 20th Century chairs. The armchair is in good condition, there is a small historic repair to the inner seat, this cannot be seen when the cushion is in place. This is not detrimental to the chair and can be seen in the photographs. The state of the leather is good, there are areas of wear and use as you would expect with a piece of furniture that has been in use for 100 years, this only adds to the character of this stylish chair. This charming, small proportioned antique leather armchair is extremely comfortable and would be a very decorative and useful addition to any interior.
