Set of Four 19th Century Italian Mirrors

A superb set of four 19th Century Italian mirrors with rectangular shaped original plates. These original mirror plates are beautifully patinated as the close up photographs show. The mirrors are set within painted and parcel gilt frames with carved scroll and foliate borders, the frames are largely the same size, but there are some minor variations. These 19th Century Italian mirrors are in good condition, there are one or two marks and blemishes as can be seen in the photos, this does not detract from their appeal and is to be expected in antique pieces - adding to their character. The fact that these mirrors have stayed together as a set is important. This is a really stunning set of four antique mirrors that would make a striking decorative statement wherever they are placed in the home.
