French Empire Period Mahogany Gueridon with Marble Top
The distinctive black marble top of this antique gueridon or centre table is supported by a mahogany reeded urn pedestal and beautifully shaped legs which terminate with generous lion paw feet. The table retains its original small brass casters and is in good condition. This Gueridon table is an excellent example of the elegance of the French Empire period that is as relevant and desirable today as in the mid 19th century.
