19th Century French Fruitwood Serving Table

We were so excited to find this fabulous French fruitwood serving table. Its many features include planked top with wonderful grain and colour, scalloped frieze with three drawers, the drawers have forged iron handles, well turned legs. The scalloping on the frieze is continued on the sides and back, allowing the table to free stand if required. The condition is very good, the table is stable and stands evenly with no wobbles. The colour is excellent. There is evidence of some historic woodworm - long gone! treated again by us for peace of mind. This antique French serving table would be perfect placed in a kitchen, dining room or hall and is an item we will find hard to part with!!
