An exceptional late 18th Century/early 19th Century Chinese baluster vase with bud finial cover on a carved and pierced hard wood stand. This fabulous antique oriental vase is finely painted with a continuous domestic scene of family and attendants in a decorative landscape. This charming scene, painted in striking greens, iron red and complementing shades, is banded with trellis borders that are punctuated with flowers and precious objects. The condition of this antique Chinese vase is excellent with no chips, good glaze and crisp, well defined decoration. Standing on its square, eastern hardwood object base this elegant Chinese vase would be a stunning addition to any interior.
