Late 19th Century Japanese Porcelain Censor

This exquisite porcelain censor stands on 3 feet and is beautifully enamelled with pink and gold horses on an intricate cross hatched ground. The cross hatched decoration is repeated on the domed lid. The condition is excellent. The charming subject, striking colours of pink, pale blue and gold and delightful proportions, combine to make this Japanese censor a very desirable object.
