George IV Mahogany Whatnot
A beautifully proportioned three tier George IV mahogany whatnot with sloping galleries, turned finials and supports, terminating in brass castors. The drawer at the base is edged with decorative beading. This antique whatnot has a beautiful original colour and deep rich patina, there are a few minor historic marks and blemishes to the shelves (clearly shown in the photographs), these are commensurate with the age and use of the whatnot and only add to the character. A really useful 19th Century whatnot that would sit comfortably in any home to display traditional treasures or a contemporary collection.
