Pair of 19th Century Exhibition Quality Corner Cabinets
An exquisite pair of 19th Century satinwood inlaid and lacquered free standing corner cabinets. This fine and highly decorative pair of 19th Century satinwood corner cabinets each having cross banded shaped tops above dentil inlaid friezes. The cupboard doors have centralized marquetry and parquetry inlay and applied chinoiserie lacquered panels depicting traditional Chinese landscapes. the inlay and lacquered panels are repeated on the canted corners. The cabinets are each raised on five square supports, the front four of which are beautifully inlaid and terminate with small brass feet. The condition of these antique corner cabinets is excellent, there are very minor marks to the top of one cabinet, these are not detrimental and are shown in the photographs. The cabinet doors each have working locks and keys. This rare and magnificent pair of floor standing exhibition quality cabinets would be an elegant, distinctive and stylish focal point in any interior.
