Pair of 19th Century Painted Garden Chairs

A pair of very decorative French 19th Century wrought iron garden chairs in the original green paint. The design of these antique garden chairs is particularly lovely with scrolling arms, curved stretchers, high backs with scrolls and oval trellis panels topped with fleur de lis. The condition is generally good, the appeal of these beautiful chairs is in the wonderfully distressed original paint and patina. Please see the photographs for details. There is a slim bar missing from one of the trellis panels and a very slight distortion to one of the back legs, the chairs are still very solid to sit on. This is a very unusual pair of antique French Chairs that would add style and elegance to a garden, conservatory or garden room or even a hallway.
