Pair of George II Style Side Chairs
A extremely elegant pair of early 20th Century mahogany side chairs in the George II style with cabriole legs, carved shell motifs to the knees, terminating in superb ball and claw feet. The quality of this pair of antique side chairs is outstanding and typifies the high standard of craftsman ship at the turn of the century. The chairs are in excellent condition and very comfortable, they are structurally sound and stand well with no wobbles. They have been recovered in a fine green and off white striped fabric, which looks striking against the rich mahogany legs, giving a crisp contemporary appeal to this elegant pair of chairs, allowing them to work in a modern or traditional setting.
