Pair of Victorian Giltwood & Gesso Oval Mirrors
A delightful pair of 19th Century giltwood and gesso oval mirrors, the beautiful crestings are decorated with a profusion of fruiting vines, pomegranates, flowers and foliage. The base of the mirrors are decorated with smaller versions of the crestings of an equally high quality. This pair of antique mirrors have their original glass, surrounded by well made, high quality frames with striking beaded inner and reeded outer borders. The mirrors are well presented ready to hang and are in very good condition, the colour of the gilt is rich yet mellow. This charming pair of Victorian oval mirrors would be easy to accommodate and would be a highly decorative addition to any wall in the home.
