Set of Six Regency Painted Dining Chairs
A fine set of Regency dining chairs, comprising of 4 singles and 2 carvers. These Regency chairs retain the original painted finish which simulates rosewood. The chairs have bobbin turned arm supports and top rails and carved central splats with brass bosses. the drop in seats have been newly upholstered in a lovely neutral linen fabric. The condition of these antique dining chairs is good, they stand firmly with no wobbles. There is evidence of historic restoration as can be expected with chairs over 200 years old. This exceptionally fine set of antique dining chairs would add the elegance and style of the Regency period to any dining room.
