19th Century Royal Coat of Arms
A decorative 19th century royal coat of arms, clearly displaying the motto of the English monarchs 'Dieu et mon droit' (God and my right) said to have been first used as a battle cry by Richard I, referencing his divine right to govern. This royal coat of arms may have been painted originally, however, it is in good condition and is an attractive item to add prestige to any decorative scheme.
