Set of 19th Century Japanese Woodblock Prints
A very striking set of four 19th Century Japanese woodblock prints attributed to Kunisada who was renowned for painting actors in theatre productions and also portraits of beautiful women. The condition of these antique woodblock prints is good, the colours are lovely and they look very smart in the narrow gilt reeded frames. These prints are on 19th Century paper and there is minor wear to the edge of two of them and a very small amount of foxing; this is not easily visible and in no way detracts from the appeal. A really decorative set of antique woodblock prints.
