Victorian Red Scumble Painted Blanket Box

A 19th Century pine blanket box with old red scumble paint and iron side handles. The condition of this antique box is good, the hinges are in good order and the interior is very clean. There is some slight wear to the top, this is to be expected and does not detract from the appeal of this striking and unusual antique trunk. A very decorative painted Victorian blanket box that would make a lovely coffee table or could be used as seating or storage in any room.
